Company information

The more information you provide, the easier it will be for your potential customers to find your company. If all the required sections in the profile are filled in, the special “Verified” icon appears.

While the changes are being moderated, you will see the following message: “Thank you for updating information about this organization. Your submission is currently visible to you and will be visible to other users after it passes moderation”.

The changes will take effect once they are verified. Moderation in Yango for Business and Yango Maps takes three days.

In addition to the business owner, all Yango Maps users can send a request to change information about a business using the Edit information button. If a user creates a change request, the business owner receives a message about it and can confirm or reject the edit on the Changes page.

Name and short name

To change the name:

  1. On the Businesses page, click the link with the company name.

  2. In the menu on the left, go to About the business → Data.

  3. In the Main tab, go to Detailed information. Here you can enter the company and short names and select additional languages.

    To pass moderation, the new name must meet the requirements.

  4. Click Save data at the bottom of the page.

If your business has rebranded, then, in addition to the name, you need to change the logo and photos that display the old name.

If rebranding assumes that the branch left the chain, changing the name alone is not enough. You need to create a new company profile.

Address and location

  1. On the Businesses page, click the link with the company name.

  2. In the menu on the left, go to About the business → Data.

  3. In the Main tab to Address.

  4. Enter the new address or select the point on the map where your customers can visit.

  5. Click Save data at the bottom of the page.

Note

Yango for Business doesn't accept the following for publication on Yango Maps:

  • Addresses of rental properties (apartments, private houses).

  • Online stores that have no street address or are registered at the owner's place of residence.

You can add online stores without a street address as online businesses.

To change the address, specify the location, or add an entrance, choose the type of edit in Address on the Main tab:

Moving means changing the address within one locality.

Note

Moving a business is not allowed if:

If your business belongs to one of the categories, instead of moving the company, you need to create a new profile for it.

If your business is moving, select Moving. Change the address or move the placemark on the map to the appropriate location and add an entrance. If you want to keep the photos and reviews at the old address, uncheck the appropriate checkboxes. Check the information and click Save data. The company profile at the new address is created automatically.

In Yango Maps the business at the old address appears in “Moved” status. You can't edit information for your business at the old address in your profile.

Note

It may take up to seven days to fully update the information in the business card for the new address.

If the company address hasn't changed, but the business has moved to a different location in the same building, select Edit address. Edit the information, add an entrance, and click Save data. The company profile will be updated.

If the building where your company is located is large and has multiple entrances, mark your entrance on the map to make it easier for customers to find you. To do this, click Edit entrances in the lower-right corner of the mini-map.

To add new regions or change the service area:

  1. On the Businesses page, click the link in the company name.

  2. In the menu on the left, go to About the business → Data.

  3. In the Main tab, go to the Address.

  4. Specify the Service area by selecting the appropriate regions from the list or setting a radius around a point with a specific address. The radius value can only be an integer no more than 10,000 km.

  5. Click Save data at the bottom of the page.

If an online business receives a street address:

  1. In your personal account, select the business.

  2. In the menu on the right, select You'll appear in Yango Maps.

  3. Create a request using the form.

Status

If you want to inform users that your business is temporarily closed, change its status:

  1. On the Businesses page, click the link with the company name.

  2. In the menu on the left, go to About the business → Data.

  3. On the Main tab, go to the Status in the Profile and on Maps tab and select the appropriate status.

  4. Click Save data at the bottom of the page.

The status of the business will change after the data is checked.

Business category

To add a business category:

  1. On the Businesses page, click the link with the company name.

  2. In the menu on the left, go to About the business → Data.

  3. On the Main tab, go to Basic category, click Add category, and choose a category.

  4. Click Save data at the bottom of the page.

  5. On the Features tab, add parameters for the selected business categories. For example: parking, average bill, free Wi-Fi, or payment by card.

Business hours and holidays

  1. On the Businesses page, click the link with the company name.

  2. In the menu on the left, go to About the business → Data.

  3. You can set the business hours in the Schedule block on the Main tab. Adjust the intervals using the Weekdays, Weekend, 24/7, Daily, and Break buttons.

    You can make a specific day a holiday or day off without changing the general company schedule. Click Add business hours for, select a date, and set business hours or check the Day off option if the company won't be working on that day.

  4. Click Save data at the bottom of the page.

Contact details

  1. On the Businesses page, click the link with the company name.

  2. In the menu on the left, go to About the business → Data.

  3. In the Contact info block on the Main tab, you can add:

    • Website address: A link to your website.

      Note

      Only one URL can be displayed in your profile, so choose the website that would attract the most clients. Also provide social media links for getting in touch. All other website addresses should be removed.

    • Social media pages: A username or phone number linked to your social media profile.

    • YouTube channel: A link to your channel.

    • Email.

    • Phone numbers:

      • A phone number, extension, and description.

      • Phone numbers used in Viber and WhatsApp.

  4. Click Save data at the bottom of the page.

Services and requisites

In this section, you can provide additional information about your company. This information is shown on the Services and requisites tab. The more information you provide on this tab, the more convenient it is for your customers.

To add information to this section, click Show all or the name of any subsection.

Basic

In this section, you can provide general information about your business:

  • Currency

  • Parking

  • Wi-Fi

  • Pet-friendly

  • Legal information

    Yango Maps doesn't display legal information (requisites) of your business.

If your company's requisites or other basic details have changed, update them in this section and click Save changes.

Details related to your business category

In this section, you can provide information related to your company's business category. For example, if your business is a store or a cafe, you can include the following information:

  • Delivery

  • Payment method

  • Coffee to go

  • Deals

Accessibility

If your company has an accessible environment for people with disabilities, you can include the following information:

  • Accessible parking

  • Wheelchair access

  • Automatic door

  • Accessible toilet
