Company information

The more information you provide, the easier it will be for your potential customers to find your company. If all the required sections in the profile are filled in, the special “Verified” icon appears.

While the changes are being moderated, you will see the following message: “Thank you for updating information about this organization. Your submission is currently visible to you, and will be visible to other users after it passes moderation”.

The changes will take effect once they are verified. Moderation in Yango for Business and Yango Maps takes three days.

In addition to the business owner, all Yango Maps users can send a request to change information about a business using the Edit information button. If a user creates a change request, the business owner receives a message about it and can confirm or reject the edit on the Changes page.

Log in to the account

To change the company information, log in to your Yango for Business account:

  1. Log in to Yango ID.

    If you don't have an account, go to the registration page and fill out the form.

  2. Open the Yango for Business page.

Name and short name

To change the name:

  1. On the Businesses page, click the link with the company name.

  2. In the left-side menu, go to About the business → Data.

  3. Go to the Name in different languages section. Here you can enter the company and short names and select additional languages.

    To pass moderation, the new name must meet the placement requirements.

  4. Click Save changes at the bottom of the page.

If your business has rebranded, then, in addition to the name, you need to change the logo and photos that display the old name.

If rebranding assumes that the branch leaves the chain, changing the name alone is not enough. You need to create a new company profile.

Address and location

You can change the actual company address or the service area of an online business.

After the address is changed, we'll ask you to confirm the new address.

Business with an actual address

  1. On the Businesses page, click the link with the company name.
  2. In the left-side menu, go to About the businessData.
  3. Go to the Location and entrances section.
  4. Enter the new address or select the point on the map where your customers can visit.
  5. Click Save changes at the bottom of the page.

Note

Yango for Business doesn't accept the following for publication on Yango Maps:

  • Addresses of rental properties (apartments, private houses).
  • Online stores that have no street address or are registered at the owner's place of residence.

You can add online stores without a street address as online businesses.

To change the address, specify the location, or add an entrance, choose the type of edit in the Location and entrances section:

If you can't edit an address or entrance, use the feedback form.

Moving

Moving means changing the address within one locality.

Note

Moving a business is not allowed if:

If your business belongs to one of the categories, instead of moving the company, you need to create a new profile for it.

If your business is moving, select Moving. Change the address or move the placemark on the map to the appropriate location and add an entrance. If you want to keep the photos and reviews at the old address, uncheck the appropriate checkboxes. Check the information and click Save changes. The company profile at the new address is created automatically.

On Yango Maps, the business at the old address will be shown with the “Moved” status. You can't edit information for your business at the old address in your profile.

Note

It may take up to seven days to fully update the information in the business card for the new address.

Edit address

If the company address hasn't changed, but the business has moved to a different location in the same building, select Edit address. Edit the information, add an entrance, and click Save changes. The company profile will be updated.

Add an entrance

If the building where your company is located is large and has multiple entrances, mark your entrance on the map to make it easier for customers to find you. To do this, click Edit entrances in the lower-right corner of the mini-map.

Online businesses

To add new regions or change the service area:

  1. On the Businesses page, click the link with the company name.
  2. In the left-side menu, go to About the businessData.
  3. Go to the Service area section.
  4. Select the regions from the list or set a radius around a point with a specific address. The radius value can only be an integer no more than 10,000 km.
  5. Click Save changes at the bottom of the page.

If an online business gets an actual street address:

  1. In your personal account, select a business.
  2. In the Activate useful services section on the right, select You'll appear in Yango Maps.
  3. Create a request using the form.

Status

If you want to inform users that your business is temporarily closed, change its status:

  1. On the Businesses page, click the link with the company name.

  2. In the left-side menu, go to About the business → Data.

  3. Go to the Business hours section and select the status.

  4. Click Save changes at the bottom of the page.

The status of the business will change after the data is checked.

Business category

To add or change a business category:

  1. On the Businesses page, click the link with the company name.

  2. In the left-side menu, go to About the business → Data.

  3. Under Category, add or change:

  • Main category

    There can be only one main category.

    Select the main category from the list or start typing the first letters in the input field.

  • Secondary categories

    There can be no more than two secondary categories.

    Select the secondary category from the list or start typing the first letters in the input field.

    If two secondary categories have already been added and you need to make changes, first delete one of them.

  1. Click Save data at the bottom of the page.

  2. In the Services and requisites section, add parameters for the selected business categories. For example: parking, average bill, free Wi-Fi, or payment by card.

Business hours and holidays

  1. On the Businesses page, click the link with the company name.

  2. In the left-side menu, go to About the business → Data.

  3. You can set the business hours in the Business hours section. Adjust the intervals using the Weekdays, Every day, 24/7, Weekends, and Break buttons.

    You can make a specific day a holiday or day off without changing the general company schedule. In the Holidays and non-business days section, click Add business hours, select a date, and set business hours, or check the Day off option if the company won't be working on that day. Holidays will be displayed in the company profile starting from the Monday of the week the holidays fall on.

  4. Click Save changes at the bottom of the page.

Contact details

  1. On the Businesses page, click the link with the company name.

  2. In the left-side menu, go to About the businessData:

    • In the Website and social media section, add:

      • Website addresses: A link to your main website and one or two links to additional websites.

        Position the website that would attract the most customers first. After that, you can specify additional websites. They will be displayed in the drop-down list.

        Note

        Your profile can contain no more than three websites: a link to the main website and up to two links to additional websites.

      • Social media pages: A username or phone number linked to your social media profile.

        Note

        Telegram is a social network, not a messenger.

      • Messengers.

        Add links of the following format into the fields with WhatsApp and Viber icons: https://wa.me/customer_number and https://viber.click/customer_number. Specify the number in 79991112233 format.

        Yango Maps message attribute

        If the customer clicks in Yango Maps, a template with the following text will be automatically added to their first message: "Request from Yango Maps. Hello! I'm interested in your offer".

        Note

        The template text can't be changed.

        The customer can edit this message — delete the template text and write their own message.

      • YouTube channel: A link to your channel.

    • In the Phones section, add phone numbers:

      • A phone number, extension, and description.

      • Phone numbers used in Viber and WhatsApp.

    • In the Email section, add the email address.

  3. Click Save changes at the bottom of the page.

Services and requisites

In this section, you can provide additional information about your company. These details are shown on the Services and requisites tab. The more information you provide on this tab, the more convenient it is for your customers.

To add information to this section, click Show all or the name of any subsection.

Basic

In this section, you can provide general information about your business:

  • Currency

  • Parking

  • Wi-Fi

  • Pet-friendly

  • Legal information

Note

Legal information (requisites) of your business isn't shown in Yango Maps.

If your company's requisites or other basic details have changed, update them in this section and click Save changes.

In this section, you can provide information related to your company's business category. For example, if your business is a store or a cafe, you can include the following information:

  • Delivery

  • Payment method

  • Coffee to go

  • Deals

Accessibility

If your company offers an accessible environment for people with disabilities, you can include the following information:

  • Accessible parking

  • Wheelchair access

  • Automatic door

  • Accessible toilet

Only the name changed, while the employees, building, and business owner remained the same.
